: 台將一日雙喜！大聯盟紅襪隊三壘手Rafael Devers因為左肩發炎，被球隊放入10天傷兵(DL)名單，並叫小聯盟3A台灣好手林子偉升上大聯盟，而光芒隊也在今天同時升上胡智為上大聯盟，兩人都可望出賽。
林子偉今年被叫上大聯盟2次，出賽16場，37打數，6支安打，本季打擊率1成62，這次對他來說可是大好機會，因為林子偉今年出賽時間不多，因此被升降機會也大。
此外，光芒隊今天也將Willy Adames下放小聯盟，並升上小聯盟3A台將胡智為。這是胡智為本季首次上大聯盟。
本季他在小聯盟3A出賽16場，投球局數67.2局，戰績3勝6敗，防禦率4.66。

日職央聯季後挑戰賽決勝輪，季賽第三名的橫濱DeNA灣星隊演出「下剋上」戲碼，以9:3擊敗廣島隊，睽違19年再度晉級日本一總冠軍系列賽。
